Geldof typically blunt toward Band Aid cynics

Band Aid 30 was released today in the hope of bringing an end to the deadly Ebola virus.

Stars such as One Direction, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Bono and Ellie Goulding among others took to the studio to lend their voice to the 2014 version of Do They Know It’s Christmas?

And some took quite kindly to the new version.

Some people felt the original was best and nothing was going to beat it.

And then of course, there were the cynics.

But when asked on Sky News about these cynical responses to the latest Band Aid effort, Bob Geldof responded as only Sir Bob could. Be warned, his language is a little colourful.
