Knightley happy with her body ‘image’

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY says she’s happy to do topless shoots — as long as her image isn’t retouched. The actress was photographed topless — except for a pair of long gloves — for Interview magazine.

She told The Times newspaper: “That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said: ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot, so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are.”

Keira said: “I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times, for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters. I think women’s bodies are a battleground and photography is partly to blame.... Our society is so photographic now, it becomes more difficult to see all of those different varieties of shape. Which is why I’m so glad feminism is back on the table.”

MATTHEW BRODERICK has shared the secret to his happy marriage to SARAH JESSICA PARKER. The American Side actor and Sex And The City star have been husband and wife for 17 years and have three children. Matthew told the Meredith Vieira Show: “We really are friends beyond everything else and we talk a lot.”

Asked what advice he had for couples, he said: “Just keep talking, I guess. I know how cliched that is. Too much silence is definitely not a good idea... She’s really funny, she makes me laugh. That’s good. I wish I had a better answer... It is good. I’m very blessed being married to her.”

BEN WHISHAW originally said no to voicing Paddington Bear in a new movie. The James Bond actor has taken over the part from COLIN FIRTH, who stepped down from the role earlier this year. Ben told Marie Claire magazine: “I said no the first time. I just thought, ‘I’m not very good at doing voices, I can’t do it and I don’t think I’ll be right for it’.”

DAVE GROHL has criticised “lazy” bands who tour just one record. The Foo Fighters frontman told NME that he didn’t like bands revisiting old albums on their anniversary. “I don’t like it when a band’s tour is just to play one past record. I f***ing hate that,” he said. “I don’t like it when bands do that. It’s presumptuous. It’s lazy.”

And he added: “Going in and re-recording an album, just to p*** everyone off? I think that’s a sh***y idea! I don’t get why people do that.”

“At one point, I thought, ‘You know what would be really funny? To re-record the first Foo Fighters record as the band we are now’ — ’cos the first record isn’t the Foo Fighters, it’s just me”.

DREW BARRYMORE says she won’t be losing her baby weight for a while — because her husband loves his food so much. The 39-year-old actress has two children, Frankie, who is six-months-old, and two-year-old Olive, with art consultant, Will Kopelman. She told E! News that her hubby had made it “impossible to lose my baby weight. He’s such an eater,” she said. “It’s just not easy with him, because he is such a foodie. Date night is always about trying a new restaurant or eating food on the couch [and] watching Top Chef — which we did last night.”
