This missed connection at the Web Summit is not as it seems

A desperate search for a mysterious missed connection was actually a clever promotion for a new app at the Web Summit.

Posters describing a romantic encounter at last year's Web Summit with a "blonde tech guy from San Francisco called Mark" popped up around the RDS - but all was not as it seemed.

"I know writing this is really embarrassing but there's three of us now," it read.

The A4 page encouraged 'Mark' to visit www.who-knows-mark.com to see pictures of his baby. 

Instead, it leads to a website for an app called Spotted which allows you to "Get in touch with your missed connections".
