Nik Wallenda completes amazing blindfolded wire walk

You may not know who Nik Wallenda is, but after seeing this you won’t envy his day job.

Nik Wallenda completes amazing blindfolded wire walk

Nik Wallenda is an acrobat, daredevil and high wire artist and his latest high wire crossing is pretty spectacular.

On Sunday, Wallenda planned to cross between Chicago's two Marina Towers. On a tight rope. With no safety net.

Amazingly he completed the journey across not once, but twice in an event which was recorded on the Discovery Channel. The channel used a 10 second delay in their broadcast should anything go wrong.

Thankfully everything went well and with the wire standing over 500 feet above ground Wallenda completed the first jounrey across only to repeat the walk with a blindfolded on.

Being unable to see for the second walk he relied on instruction from his father who was guiding him. He made it successful across to cheers from the crowd far below.

Wallenda has previously crossed the Grand Canyon and hails from The Flying Wallendas who became famous for their own daredevil acts in 20th Century.

Wallenda's walk is incredibly impressive, but I don't think any of us in the Exam Viral team will be trying to match his effort any time soon.
