David Cameron’s Twitter account gets frisky

There we were, minding our own business and going about our work.

Then we saw something rather funny, but also a little disturbing on Tweetdeck.

On our activity stream we noticed that British Prime Minister David Cameron's official Twitter account - @No10Gov - decided to follow another, rather saucy account which goes by the handle @MyKinkTube.

In its profile blurb @MyKinkTube - which has the username 'Franky Frostage Bondage' - states; "Hey! And welcome to my Twitter site! I am a person trying to start my own bondage site with a lot of free high quality bondage an Fetish video, please visit!"

The account's timeline features a high degree of X-rated content that is strictly for adult eyes only.

Whether it was a keyboard slip or the work of a 'follow back' bot we assume the Prime Minister's policies are not going to be radically affected by this new direction in reaching out to the British electorate via social media.

Perhaps fearing a Downing Street tabloid scandal, the account was promptly unfollowed by the powers that be.

It just goes to prove that social media is a risque business for politicians.
