VIDEO: Out of control rally car barely misses spectators
The rally fans were standing on a mound with some sitting on a wall when the Renault Clio Super 1600 lost control and mounted a nearby concrete ramp.
None of the spectators were seriously injured, although one was taken to hospital suffering from shock.
Driver Pietro Scavone and his navigator Diego D’Herin were released from hospital after tests.
The incident has again put motor racing in the spotlight following an accident at the Japanese Grand Prix on the same day which left Formula One driver Jules Bianchi seriously injured.
