Marsh’s Cork Sale

A collection of vintage fishing memorabilia from Day’s of Cork are a feature lot at Marsh’s sale next Saturday at noon. 

Furniture includes an early Georgian walnut chest of drawers, a Cork writing bureau, a two-door bureau bookcase, an Irish Georgian console table with matching gilded mirror and a set of six Cork 11-bar chairs amongst others.Viewing is from 10.30am to 9pm next Thursday and Friday.

ART SALE ONLINE

An online Morgan O’Driscoll auction of 300 lots of Irish art will run until October 6. The paintings will be on view in Skibbereen next Thursday and Friday, and on Monday week, the day of the sale, which begins at 6.30pm. www.morganodriscoll.com

A George IV, silver chamberstick, a Victorian safe, and a collection of about 80 teapots will be included in the sale at Cork Auction Rooms at noon tomorrow. It is on view from 10am to 6pm today, and from 9am tomorrow.

The library and bookcases from the Augustinian Friary in Limerick are included in the sale at The Auction Rooms, Sixmilebridge, Co Clare next Tuesday at 10.30 am. The auction is on view today, tomorrow and Monday.
