Wish list: DFS sofa

Esther N McCarthy digs some retro vibes, hails the love affair between form and function and gives a shout out to our feathered friends.

Check out the Barton from DFS, with teal tones, curved lines and angled feet – there’s an understated retro vibe going on. It comes in a choice of, count them – 12 – colours and they’ll very kindly throw in free accent scatter cushions and two matching bolster cushions. The four-seater sofa retails at €998 and has matching armchairs, cuddler sofas and footstools. Here, it’s styled with a pop of yellow, but feel free to add your own accent colour.
