Reese Witherspoon revives Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods for cancer-stricken fan

Reese Witherspoon has slipped back into her much-loved Legally Blonde character’s shoes to share a hopeful message with a cancer-stricken fan.

The mum-of-three donned a dress in Elle Woods’ signature colour, draping a pearl necklace over the top, to hold a handmade sign with her support for the child emblazoned in – you guessed it – bright pink.

“This is for one of the strongest little four-year-olds I can imagine,” she wrote in the photo caption.

“Will – I hear that you’re fighting so hard and strong against cancer and that in the hospital you’ve been watching a lot of Legally Blonde and loving it.
