Would you use shampoo meant for horses?

An increasing amount of women are buying horse shampoo in a bid to get perfectly conditioned hair.

Mane n’Tail Shampoo was originally designed for horse manes but many woman have found it does wonders for their own hair.

Amazon say they’ve seen an 157% increase in sales over the last few months. It’s now the No.1 haircare product sold on the site, as well as being in the top 20 products sold in the Pet Supplies store.

A spokesperson for Amazon said that the shampoo and conditioner could be used on humans, as well as horses and dogs. The product claims to repair damage from heat and the environment and provides “healthy, shiny and manageable hair”.

User comments have been positive, many saying it improves strength, shine and manageability, with some even claiming it’s made their hair grow considerably in length.

Who wouldn’t want the long, thick mane of a horse?!
