Diana Ross to reign Supreme at Glastonbury?
The Supremes legend could be set to âdo a Dollyâ and take centre stage in the Sunday afternoon legends slot on the Pyramid Stage, according to The Sun, where Dolly Parton wowed crowds this summer.
The 70-year-oldâs hits include Ainât No Mountain High Enough and Iâm Coming Out, and would be certain to draw huge crowds if she does join the line-up for 2015.
Diana is said to be in talks at the moment and a source said: âGlastonbury bosses were thinking it was going to be impossible to top Dolly. But now it looks like they will get Diana Ross, which will be incredible.
âIt wonât be cheap but sheâs worth every penny. She still tours around the world and puts on a fantastic show.â
Music legends to wow Glastonbury crowds in the past include Shirley Bassey, Brian Wilson, Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers.
Dianaâs close friend Nile Rodgers said recently: âDiana is one of my greatest friends and she is an incredible performer. I know sheâd love to feel the vibe and the love from any festival audience.
âSure, sheâs a diva. But I absolutely love divas because they care and are passionate about what they do.
âI once saw her being told she was singing flat and she stormed out of the studio and went to France for two weeks â she says she doesnât remember that happening.â
