The former Coronation Street star was a hit with viewers of the panel show, presented by Keith Lemon, when she appeared as a guest, but according to The Sun doesn’t want to cover the six episodes for Holly because it clashes with an acting job.
Holly is a team captain on Celebrity Juice alongside best pal Fearne Cotton and will be taking time off as she is due to give birth to her third child.
A source said: “Unfortunately, although Michelle said she loves the show, it clashed with another project that she has already signed up for this year. It’s a drama which she is very excited about, as she has always been keen to focus on acting after leaving Corrie.”
The 27-year-old is also reported to have turned down an offer to compete on Strictly Come Dancing alongside fiance Mark Wright, who is said to still be in talks with the BBC show.
The source continued: “Michelle would never rule anything out, but she wants to focus on her acting – she’s an actress first.”
She said last year that she would like to get into films: “That’s every actor’s dream. I’d love to do a drama, a comedy, or maybe a rom com like Love Actually. But I’d also love to play someone dark and dangerous.”
