Davina McCall shrugs off Twitter trolls with a laugh

Davina McCall has said she doesn’t get upset by Twitter trolls, because she finds a lot of their comments funny.

The Long Lost Family presenter said she was the target of abuse on social media quite often, but didn’t let it get her down.

She said: “I get a lot of Twitter trolls. A lot of abuse is about my nose and I actually love my nose.

“But I save some of it because it makes me laugh. Someone asked me if I was related to the puffin family.”

Davina said it wasn’t all abuse though – thanks to her emotional role on Long Lost Family and being known to millions as the original face of Big Brother, she revealed she was often stopped by fans wanting a hug.

Fitness fanatic Davina has recently become the ambassador for Sky Ride, a campaign to get Brits into cycling, and said the scheme was right up her street.
