Couple set the world record for the longest kiss

…In a wind tunnel. It’s pretty random, yes. But it’s national kissing day today so someone had to do it didn’t they?

Matt Lippe and Terri Cass, both 27, kissed for an exhausting 31 minutes and 4 seconds. It can’t have been easy though, they were battling against 110mph winds.

The couple set the new world record in the Airkix wind tunnel in Manchester, while two other couples tried their luck at the same time in other wind tunnels in Basingstoke and Milton Keynes.

Luckily for Matt and Terri, the other two couples only managed 25 minutes 43 seconds and 14 minutes 30 seconds.

Matt says: “Terri and I are in cloud nine to have set the record for the longest kiss in a wind tunnel. There was fierce competition between the three tunnels so we’re really happy that the North came out on top. We will continue practising to keep hold of the title for as long as possible!”

Romantic.

If you need to see even more of that kiss, here’s a video.
