Did you hear about the cyclists that got married in the middle of a bike race? It sounds like a joke – and that’s how it started. But it sounded such a good idea that Gary Watson and Lisa Russell went ahead and actually did it.

The couple took a breather during the RideLondon-Surrey Classic to tie the knot in front of family and friends. But the most important guest was their five-year-old daughter Betsy, “whose smile didn’t disappear from her face all day”.
