See the bizarre way this dog was put up for adoption

Meet Valerie. She’s a “happy-go-lucky” puppy who had a sad start in life. But don’t worry, there’s a happy ending – via a truly bizarre adoption process.

The German Shepherd-cross was found in a scrapyard near Watford in Hertfordshire. According to the Dogs Trust, she was locked inside a windowless vehicle with a sign around her neck reading “I’m Valerie and I’m six months old, take me too”.
