Guess the three strangest questions asked by A-level students about their student accommodation
Unite Students, the UK’s leading developer and manager of student accommodation, has divulged the three oddest questions they’ve been asked in the lead up to this year’s A Level results day.
One girl destined for Nottingham wanted to be 100% reassured that her room was not haunted. Naturally staff were a bit flummoxed and after asking her to elaborate, she replied: “Has the room ever been occupied by ghosts or spirits?”
And she’s not the only one, as another female student enquired how close the nearest graveyard was from her halls.
All ghosts aside, there was also one inquisitive university-starter who had been looking up his student accommodation on Google Earth. After spotting something amiss, the eagle-eyed lad frantically rang up his halls requesting: “Before I go and view, can you reassure me it is not on fire?”
So, forget ensuite bathrooms, unlimited WIFI and a weekly cleaner – all students need reassurance with these days are paranormal entities and fire safety hazards. Fair enough, we think.
