Artist Ino Zeljak has put genetic resemblance to the test by photographing sets of siblings, parents and offspring – and even pairs of best friends – to prove just how physically alike we are.

The startling parallels were showcased in his series entitled Metamorfoza and, after shooting the photos of the pairs separately, Ino used Photoshop to overlap their faces and merged them together to give the illusion they were one person.
