Robert Pattinson: Auditions are petrifying
The Twilight star admitted that although he battles anxiety when he is auditioning for parts, he has mastered the nerve-wracking meetings about roles by becoming āa bullshit artistā.

He told The Guardian: āIām quite good at doing meetings. If Iām just meeting someone about a job Iām like a dog, especially if my agentās said to me, āA lot of people want this job.ā Then Iām like, āOh yeah? Then I will do anything to get it!āā
Quizzed about his technique, the heartthrob laughed: āI donāt know, I just become a bullshit artist! Thatās when I start acting! Iām really much better at doing it when the cameras arenāt rolling.ā
R-Patz admitted he goes through 45 minutes of āneurosesā before the actual auditions begin.

āI just canāt⦠I literally canāt do it,ā he continued. āItās just me looking uncomfortable, trying to put on an American accent⦠Or sitting in the corner, making myself throw up and punching myself in the face.ā
The 28-year-old actor, who has worked with David Cronenberg and stars in David Michodās dystopian thriller The Rover, also revealed that starring in the Twilight films as vampire Edward Cullen was probably his most challenging role to date.
āI think Twilightās probably the hardest part Iāve done, because to do it for five movies, itās really hard to think of stuff thatās maybe not boring. Especially if you donāt die,ā he said.
āBecause whatās the drama? Youāre not scared of anything! And thatās the whole essence of drama: life and death.ā
