An etching of the head of a young girl, by Paul Cezanne, will feature on the stand of The Whitley Art Gallery at a day-long antique fair at Acton’s Hotel in Kinsale tomorrow, July 27.

Hibernian Antique Fairs will be in attendance from 11am to 6pm, with a full house of antique dealers.

These will include members of the Irish Antique Dealers’ Association, such as the Whitley Gallery, Weldon’s silver, Treasures’ Irish Art and Marie Curran silver and jewellery.

This popular fair covers many bases. Dealers will be in attendance from around the country. Among them are Kinsale Art Gallery, Eily Henry Vintage Fashion and Accessories, Co Waterford, Ballydehob Vintage Vinyl records and record players, Tom Browne Cork Nautical antiques, and John and Lia Vanweensveen, of Westport. The Cezanne etching is priced at €650.

A 1991 etching by Hughie O’Donoghue — ‘Crow II’— is priced at €1,250 and will be displayed at the same stand.

Tete de Jeune Fille is the etching by Cezanne (1839-1906).
