Web watch: Floor story

This is trainspotting for rug nerds.

I love the beautiful flexible textiles woven from wood by German designer Elisa Strozyk and the Goodweave rug, an ethical label against child labour in the rug industry, that Chatty Man, Alan Carr chooses to grace his set floor with, lets just say it gets the Royal stamp of approval. If you’ve always fancied a tattoo but couldn’t commit, the Hello Sailor Rug might be the less painful option, although you might feel it in the phóca at a cheeky €1,890.
