Two-day antiques fair in Bantry next weekend

Hibernian Antiques Fair is making first visit to West Cork town, Des O’Sullivan reports.

BANTRY is the venue for an antiques roadshow and a fair next weekend.

The venue for the twoday antiques fair is the West Lodge Hotel next Saturday and on Sunday week.

This first visit by Hibernian Antique Fairs — who hold regular antique fairs at venues around Ireland — to Bantry is happening in association with the Lions Club.

There will be 30 antique and art dealers in attendance.

The Lions Club is promoting the fair as a roadshow and Hibernian’s dealers have agreed to carry out valuations on both days from 9.30am. to 12.30pm.

The fair will operate on both days from 11 am to 6 pm.
