Auction to make a Mealy’s out of it

A Georgian mantlepiece is among the top draws for Des O’Sullivan this week.

A Victorian Irish silver claret jug, a lime green Donegal carpet, a Georgian mantlepiece, and an 1801 edition of the works of Edmund Burke are among the antique silver, books, art, and furniture to be sold at Mealy’s in Castlecomer next Tuesday and Wednesday (Mar 25-26).

More than 1,250 lots will go under the hammer at two days of auction.
