Antique and art fair at Limerick this weekend
Hibernian Antique Fairs say they have pulled out all the stops for this year’s Limerick event.
The city is always one of the most popular venues on their annual calendar. It promises to be an interesting hunting ground.
More than 100 dealers from around the country will attend with items priced to sell.
There will be 20 stands with 18th, 19th and 20th century furniture and art and another 12 stands offering jewellery, silver and objets d’art — as well as seven stands offering coins and bank notes.
Approximately 30 stands will be offering porcelain and collectibles and five stands will be offering vintage fashion and accessories.
In additional to the above there will be books, stamps; coins; militaria;netsuke; prints; maps and all sorts of other items of interest to collectors. Opening times are longer than usual and the fair, which is located at the conference centre in the South Court Hotel, will run from 10 am to 6pm today and tomorrow.
