Web watch: Tiger stores

A sort of a Scandinavian Dealz, this discount store has recently opened in Cork and everything is under €30.

Web watch: Tiger stores

Online you can check out their cute designs for the home, office, storage and kids while tuning in to their interesting music section where you can listen to whole albums before deciding to buy. Some nice animations give life to the products here, there’s a photography competition and you can read up on their social responsibility policy. You can check on new/seasonal items but you’ll have to go instore to pick up the bargains. If downstairs in Ikea is your idea of heaven you will love this shop.

2. Design The Life You Want To Live

This is the blog of Lynne Knowlton, Canadian creative type who will share with you the secrets of taking good photos using free apps, also her chock a block Pinterest page although she does point out that “The overall kitchen in Pinterest isn’t real. It is like a supermodel figure. They aren’t real either.” This is one fun lady, in fact she says if it’s not fun she won’t do it and if you leave her alone in your house she will re-decorate it. Promises, promises. Check out her awesome house, tree house and out house, all decorated with the enthusiasm of a Canuck hyped up on Tim Horton’s lattes.
