O EMPEROR are not Mumford and Sons, but when the Waterford five-piece signed a major label deal several years ago, they had to constantly assert this.
O Emperor were not about to grow beards or wear waistcoats on stage, no matter how much their record label would have liked it. They were not just another nu-folk band, fresh from the Mumford and Sons production line.
