300 collectible lots under hammer
IN Dublin James Adam will kick off 2014 with an Attic Sale next Tuesday at noon. More than 300 affordable and collectible lots will come under the hammer in a sale of decorative arts, jewellery, paintings, silver and furniture. Estimates are from €5 to €2,000.
Lots on offer range from a watercolour Abstract Landscape by Gerard Dillon (€300-€600) to a four leaf Chinese carved hardwood table screen (€100-€300). Antique furniture lots include an Irish George IV sideboard estimated at just €400-€800 and an early 19th century longcase clock estimated at just €400-€600. The sale is on view from 2pm to 5pm tomorrow and from 9.30am to 5pm on Monday.
