Post-1945 dealer adds to show

New York’s Winter Antiques Show celebrates its diamond jubilee this year, with exceptional pieces showcased by 73 renowned experts.

NOW that we are well into the 21st century, it is interesting to note that one of the new dealers at America’s most prestigious antique show later this month, is a specialist in post-1945 furniture.

New York’s Winter Antiques Show, celebrating its diamond jubilee this year, runs from Jan 24 to Feb 2 at the Park Avenue Armoury. R 20th Century is a New York city-based gallery specialising in 20th century design from North and South America, Europe and Asia, produced since 1945.

The gallery represents a distinguished group of designers including Wendell Castle (American, born 1932), Greta Magnusson Grossman (Swedish 1906-1999), and Joaquim Tenreiro (Brazilian 1906- 1992).

The show provides museums, collectors, dealers, design professionals and new buyers with an opportunity to see exceptional pieces showcased by 73 renowned experts.

They will offer American, English, European and Asian fine and decorative arts in a renowned annual show where everything is vetted for authenticity.
