Ruby-diamond ring is ‘seasonally’ decorative

A brace of jewellery sales in Dublin, next week, offer a huge range of decorative items from which to choose. If you happen to possess a healthy portfolio — or an airline — you might be interested in a bauble, otherwise masquerading as lot number 42, at James Adam’s sale of fine jewellery and watches, next Tuesday (Dec 10), at 6pm.

An attractive ruby and diamond ring, it is estimated at €35,000-€45,000. The Burmese natural rubies are untreated. Many items in this sale of 250 lots are estimated at under €1,000, however.
