Online and in the shops: Discover science

Experiment with slime, create an electronic circuit or zap the microbes in your gut at the annual Discovery Science Festival, in Cork’s City Hall.

It’s open to families tomorrow and Sunday, 2 to 6pm (€10 for four). The festival is part of Science Week 2013 (Nov 10 to 17), which fosters interest in science and technology; www.scienceweek.ie.
