Rarities amidst the lots of lots
Among nearly 900 lots you will find everything from a tiger skin to a Dublin-made Victorian horse coach. There are historic paintings, antique furniture, mirrors, porcelain, silver and much to tempt all collectors.
Rarities include an Italian mosaic micro picture, Pliny’s Doves (€3,000-€4,000) and an early 18th century Continental School painting of King William and General Schomberg at Carrickfergus (€4,000-€6,000). Viewing is from noon to 5.30pm tomorrow and from 10.30 to 5.30pm on Monday.
Meanwhile in Waterford RJ Keighery will have a sale next Monday (Oct 7) at 10am. Among 1,150 lots is an unusual ivory elephant and camel train. Antique furniture includes a four door Georgian bookcase, a ten foot long period dining table, display cabinets and a long case clock. There are 100 lots of Waterford Crystal as well as militaria, silver and rugs.
