Everything is Irish designed and produced, from scarves to ceramics, candles to jewels — this started out as a pop-up shop in Galway but is a permanent feature now. Go to the Facebook page, rather than the website, I think it’s much better.

2. Home Shopping Spy

This is a fabulous site to drop in on of a rainy afternoon — it’s got great re-purposing bits and pieces, for example, one post is all about ways to transform clothes hangers.

Who doesn’t want to transform a hanger, I ask you?

The eponymous spy is Alice and she’s got a great eye, lots of tips and bits and bobs on there too. I love the Look What I Found tab and the Designer Secrets tab is certainly worth checking out — the screen printing workshop looks fun.
