Diana's grace cannot be re-captured

DIANA and I go back a long way, to the day in 1981 when I watched her walk down the aisle of St Paul’s Cathedral, to marry her Prince.

She was dressed in a creased taffeta dress. Diana was 20 years old. I was six months younger. She was tall, I was taller.

She was embarking on her new life as Princess of Wales, and I was training as a travel sales clerk for a tour operator on Grafton Street in Dublin.
