Customers can now drop into the baby department at Smyths Toys on any Tuesday between 10am and 12pm to avail of their new free car seat fitting service, launched last week.

“A baby’s chances of avoiding being seriously injured are increased 90–95% if a car seat is fitted correctly,” says Smyths marketing manager Dryden Geary. “We aim to simplify what can be a daunting process for new parents and encourage them to take advantage of the free service and advice from our fully trained staff.” Best selling car seats at Smyths include the Britax Eclipse Jet Group 1, €116.99, suitable for babies from 9 to 18kg.
