Work-life balance is a box most fathers will never tick, says Pól Ó Conghaile. What’s important is that we keep trying — and have as much fun as possible in the process.

THERE is no such thing as work-life balance. The idea is a winner. Who wouldn’t want a kick-ass career, quality time with the children, a fulfilling relationship with their partner, regular exercise, a sparkling social life, and time to give something back to the community?

Actually, strike that. It’s not a good idea. I’m tired just writing the sentence.
