Family fun

The Ring of Cork Festival is a free family event which will be held tomorrow from 10am to 3pm beside SuperValu in Midleton. There will be five themed areas — food, craft, family fun, adventure and culture and heritage. Visitors are invited to join in the fun and get involved in all sorts of interactive activities from bushcraft to pottery making and surfing. There will be cookery demos by Lilly Higgins, lessons and tips on outdoor adventures from kayaking to mountain climbing, face painting and an animal petting area.
