If you want to get excited about paint, and its transformative powers, read Abigail’s blog post on Faux bois (false wood). This is basically the art of imitating wood grain in various media. She gives a history lesson about its origins and she talks you through getting the look and posts some pics. She writes about trends too, and what I like about her can be summed up in this line:“For me a home that is hot has an air of confidence about it, it packs a visual punch, stands out from the crowd and dares to be different“. A nice one to bookmark.
