* I love this oriental geometric design for wallpaper gurus Graham & Brown. Designed by Steve Leung, this trellis effect wallpaper has a mix of textures and heights and the metallic highlights add a touch of decadence. It costs €36 a roll from www.grahambrown.com.

* Beam some sunshine indoors with Carolyn Donnelly’s Sunbeam Mirror from her 2013 eclectic collection for Dunnes Stores. It costs €195 but you’ll have to wait until February to get your mitts on it.

* Reinventing the fire extinguisher is DNC TAG with its SAFE-T, an extinguisher that has been remodelled into a design object. The red extinguisher has been revamped in different colours, motifs and designs so that this traditional object, which, let’s face it, has a negative connotation.
