COLETTE MOYNIHAN was horrified when her daughter nearly choked. “Clodagh, who was two at the time, started choking on a lollipop which had somehow split in half and lodged itself in her throat,” recalls Moynihan.

“To my horror, she started throwing up blood-stained water and began to turn blue. I knew too well what was happening but before I could take any action she managed to swallow the sweet and started breathing normally.”
