Pic 1: Looking for an original baby present? Look no further. Karin Smyth is an artist in Cork who began painting baby shoes when her first grandchild was born in 2008. Each painting features either boy or girl baby shoes in muted pink or blue and includes baby’s first name and date of birth. A mounted painting is €50, and a framed one is €70.
