‘Artificial Moon’ is a spectacular lighting installation built from a thousand energy-efficient fluorescent bulbs.

1. Inhabitat: This site’s motto is ‘Design will save the world’. Not if zombies take over, but if you’re into the whole green design concept this online guide boasts innovations and inspiration to build a cleaner, brighter, and better (zombie-free) future. There’s lots of sections — art, fashion, energy, transportation, but I focused on interiors and there are some interesting bits here. The artificial moon designed by Chinese artist Wang Yuyang is worth a look.
