Steps Marquee, Cork
Members of the reunited 1990s pop group , Lisa Scott-Lee, Claire Richards, Faye Tozzer, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian H Watkins, performed a packed menu of singles in a lively blast from the past. They proved that their most familiar hits are still as popular as ever — 10 years after they split.
Better Best Forgotten had the crowd dancing and singing along to one of the group’s most famous hits.
The fabulous five interacted with the audience and even taught them new dance moves.
The audience belted out the lyrics to each and every song that Steps performed. The hits included Here And Now and You’ll Be Sorry.
Fans, who were no doubt there at the beginning of the group’s journey, danced to the tracks and relived their memories of a carefree and youthful past.
Steps showed their ability to keep up with modern trends by including Lady Gaga’s song Judas into the show.
The group delivered their up-beat style of dance to their high-energy rendition of ABBA’s Dancing Queen and Diana Ross’s Chain Reaction. In fact, this dance-floor classic was a highlight on the night.
Their most famous cover, Tragedy, thrilled the audience for their encore and Steps really went out with a bang.
