Grace and Danger

Grace and Danger

PALOMA FAITH is impossible to embarrass. On stage she’s a cross between a dominatrix and a mildly deranged fruit vendor (she has been known to wear plastic bananas as head-gear).

She is conducting this phone interview in her local Tesco (“I’ve got nothing to eat at home, now I’m weighed down with six bloody bags!”). A lurid tabloid story linking her with One Direction’s Niall Horan (nearly a decade her junior) is shrugged off with a wry laugh.
