The last gig I attended: Alarm Will Sound performing John Cage’s Song Books at Cork Opera House

The last book I read: I have Jonah Lehrer’s Proust Was a Neuroscientist on the go among others, none of them finished.

My last trip to the theatre: Rian by the excellent Fabulous Beast.

The last exhibition I attended: The NCAD graduate show.

My favourite film: I can never settle on one.

My favourite writer/artist/musician: Tough call. Olafur Eliasson or James Turrell both make captivating art work.

My favourite work of art: I’ll probably never have an answer to that question.

My favourite venue: Cork Opera House have run the best gigs I’ve seen in Cork since Mary Hickson took the helm.

The writer/artist/musician I would most like to meet: I’d be curious to find out what Bjork is like in person.

Anna Crudge is an independent curator from Clonakilty, West Cork. Anna is currently living & working in Cork city. Previous projects include Show Me at Occupy Space, Limerick, and Re-Telling at The Guest House, Cork, both co-presented with Nora Ó Murchú.

Current project: The Reading Room, co-curated with Stephen McGlynn, is currently on display at Crawford Art Gallery Library. The project invited artists Áine Saunders, David Upton, Richard Forrest and Thomas Dalton to make new work with consideration for their position regarding documentation and known history archives. Open daily from 12-2pm (except Sundays) until July 5.
