THERE is something for everyone at the James Adam sale of nearly 700 lots at St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin next Wednesday at 10.30am.
Viewing gets underway tomorrow afternoon for a sale which includes over 100 lots of silver, a good selection of antique furniture, Chinese ceramics; collectibles; paintings; prints; lithographs and a selection of French wines and champagnes to finish.
Twelve bottles of 1995 Chateau Lynch Bages is estimated at €1,000-€1,500 and a bottle of 1951 Knappogue Castle Whiskey has an estimated of €500-€600. A Belleek second period pot is estimated at €200-€300 and a Japanese lacquer two-fold screen has an estimate of €300-€500.
A charcoal portrait of a man by Harry Kernoff is estimated at €1,000-€2,000 and a cut glass six light chandelier has an estimate of €400-€600.
A Victorian oak circular drum table is estimated at €1,200-€1,800 and an Irish George IV mahogany sideboard is estimated at €1,000-€1,500.
Viewing is from 2pm to 5pm tomorrow and from 9.30am to 5pm on Monday and Tuesday.
