Beginner's pluck
She left when her third child was born. Three years ago, when her fourth child started school, she began to write. But it wasn’t until she joined Twitter that she found her writing voice.
“The agent Shelia Crowley sent me a Direct Message and asked to meet me. She loved my Twitter voice, and said if I could write a book like that it would be something special. I wrote her a few chapters and she took me on.” That was last September. Maria finished the book by Christmas; and had a two book deal by May. It is, she says, a dream come true.
