Weekend wine with Blake Creedon
The chain has just branded 143 exclusive wines it imports under the new “Specially Sourced” banner, and are launching it with the World Of Wine price promotion starting tomorrow. And, to give folks like me in the media a preview of what that range entails, they recently held a very welcome tasting — their first in eight years.
They exhibited only 33 of the 143 wines and if they are anything to go by, there are further riches in the range. In fact, I found it difficult to exclude many of the wines from the highlights below. And so I’ve added here a few further bottles here that I’d suggest are well worth buying. Like the highlights, they are available in all 193 stores nationwide.
