Beginners Pluck - Craig Sterling

Craig Sterling has been making things up since he was five years old.

“I read English at Cambridge, and won a few prizes. From that I won a scholarship to study with 1992 Nobel Prize winner, Derek Walcott. I also had contact with Seamus Heaney and poet Geoffrey Hill.”

Craig worked in publishing, then became a freelance newspaper copy writer, also writing adverts for Reuters. In 2006 and 2008 he published collections of poetry.
