A Rinascimento leather jacket, a red top and bag from Envy with New Look skinny jeans and boots I bought in Portugal.

Clodagh Irwin Owens of Killarney’s Envy boutique (www.envynboutique.ie) talks to us about what she’s wearing.

The costume jewellery is a mix from New Look and Envy and my hat is from my own label — Envy Design Studio.

How much did it cost?

I paid €300 for the leather jacket, €32 for the top, €35 for the jeans, €50 for the boots, €75 for the bag and €12 to €30 for the jewellery. The hat costs €40.

What do you love most about it?

I like to look funky but age-appropriate, so this leather jacket is ideal with its fitted waist and puff shoulders. Heels are a must for skinny jeans if you are curvy and jewellery is a great way to add texture to your look.

Who is your fashion icon?

Nicole Kidman wears styles well, as does Dita von Teese.

Which designers do you admire?

I love all the old style houses which are still top of their game, like Valentino, Chanel, Elie Saab and Balmain.

What is the last thing you bought?

This leather jacket and YSL suede shoes.

What was your biggest splurge?

My wedding dress which I drove to Donegal to collect.

What is your best bargain buy?

I have so many! Two in particular would be a netted skirt which was reduced down to €30 and a Caoimhe O’Dwyer lace tunic dress from Envy.

Where do you like to shop?

Envy Boutique mixed with high-street favourites Top Shop, New Look and Dorothy Perkins.

What has been your biggest fashion faux pas?

So many, but we only learn if we make mistakes. A muffin top and low-waist jeans comes to mind!
