A new model army was born with Anne-Sofie Back’s futuristic armour dresses and Louise Goldin’s leather corset body plates, not to mention peacoats at Max Mara and Burberry Prorsum’s bonded aviator jackets. Zara, M&S, River Island and Penneys earned their style stripes with affordable coats, jackets from €40.

How?
